When you're ready to pay, Payverge offers multiple payment options including crypto and traditional methods. This guide walks you through the payment process.

Accessing Your Bill​

View Your Bill​

  1. Tap "Bill" in Navigation - Bottom navigation bar
  2. See All Items - Everything you ordered
  3. Check Total - Final amount with tax and fees
  4. Ready to Pay - Choose payment method

Payment Methods​

Payverge supports multiple payment options:

Crypto Payment (USDC)​

Benefits:

  • ✅ Instant settlement
  • ✅ No processing fees
  • ✅ Secure blockchain transaction
  • ✅ No chargebacks

Requirements:

  • Crypto wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  • USDC tokens
  • Small amount of ETH for gas fees

Credit/Debit Card (Stripe)​

Benefits:

  • ✅ Familiar payment method
  • ✅ All major cards accepted
  • ✅ Secure processing
  • ✅ No crypto needed

PayPal​

Paying with Crypto (USDC)​

Step-by-Step Process​

1. Select Crypto Payment​

  1. Tap "Pay with Crypto"
  2. Review Amount - Total in USDC
  3. Check Gas Fees - Small network fee
  4. Confirm - Proceed to wallet

2. Connect Your Wallet​

First Time:

  1. Choose Wallet - MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.
  2. Approve Connection - In your wallet app
  3. Sign Message - Verify ownership
  4. Connected - Ready to pay

Returning:

  • Wallet remembers connection
  • One-tap to reconnect
  • Faster checkout

3. Approve USDC Spending​

One-Time Setup:

  1. Approve Transaction - In wallet
  2. Set Allowance - Amount you authorize
  3. Confirm - Sign transaction
  4. Wait - 10-30 seconds for confirmation

Why This Step? This allows the restaurant to receive USDC from your wallet. You only do this once per restaurant.

4. Complete Payment​

  1. Review Final Amount
  2. Confirm Payment - In wallet
  3. Sign Transaction
  4. Wait for Confirmation - 10-30 seconds
  5. Payment Complete! - Receipt generated

Transaction Details​

After payment, you'll see:

  • Transaction Hash - Blockchain proof
  • Amount Paid - USDC amount
  • Timestamp - When paid
  • Status - Confirmed
  • View on Explorer - See on blockchain

Paying with Credit/Debit Card​

Step-by-Step Process​

1. Select Card Payment​

  1. Tap "Pay with Card"
  2. Review Amount - Total in your currency
  3. Proceed - Go to payment form

2. Enter Card Details​

Required Information:

  • Card number
  • Expiration date (MM/YY)
  • CVV/CVC code
  • Billing ZIP code

Security:

  • Encrypted connection
  • Secure processing by Stripe
  • No card info stored
  • PCI compliant

3. Complete Payment​

  3. Processing - Wait a few seconds

Paying with PayPal​

2. PayPal Login​

  1. Redirected to PayPal
  2. Log In - PayPal credentials
  3. Review Payment

3. Return to Restaurant​

  1. Automatic Redirect - Back to Payverge
  2. Payment Confirmed

Adding a Tip​

Before Payment​

Add a tip to show appreciation:

Percentage Options​

Quick Select:

  • 15% - Standard tip
  • 18% - Good service
  • 20% - Great service
  • 25% - Excellent service
  • Custom - Enter your own

Custom Amount​

  1. Tap "Custom"
  2. Enter Amount - Dollar amount or percentage
  3. See Total - Updated with tip
  4. Proceed - Continue to payment

Tip Distribution​

Where Tips Go:

  • Tips go to restaurant
  • Restaurant distributes to staff
  • Tracked separately from bill

If dining with others, you can split the bill:

Equal Split​

Divide Evenly:

  1. Tap "Split Bill"
  2. Select "Equal Split"
  3. Enter Number of People
  4. See Your Share
