Business Registration

This guide walks you through creating your Payverge business account step-by-step.

Before You Start​

Make sure you have:

  • ✅ A crypto wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, or similar)
  • ✅ Basic business information (name, contact details, address)
  • ✅ Your business logo (optional but recommended)
  • ✅ USDC for subscription payment (or credit card for traditional payment)

Step 1: Access the Registration Page​

  1. Visit payverge.io
  2. Click "Start Your Business" or "Business Dashboard"
  3. You'll be directed to the registration wizard

Step 2: Business Information​

Fill in your basic business details:

Business Name​

  • Enter your restaurant or business name
  • This will appear on guest menus and receipts
  • Example: "The Golden Fork Restaurant"

Business Description​

  • Brief description of your business (optional)
  • Helps guests know what to expect
  • Example: "Modern Italian cuisine with a cozy atmosphere"

Contact Information​

  • Email: Primary contact email for your business
  • Phone: Business phone number (with country code)
  • Website: Your business website (optional)

Physical Address​

  • Street Address: Full street address
  • City: City name
  • State/Province: State or province
  • Postal Code: ZIP or postal code
  • Country: Select your country

Why We Need This

This information helps guests find you and appears on receipts. It's also required for payment processing compliance.

Upload your business logo to personalize your guest experience.

Logo Requirements​

  • Format: JPG, PNG, or SVG
  • Size: Maximum 2MB
  • Recommended: Square format (1:1 ratio)
  • Dimensions: At least 500x500 pixels for best quality

How to Upload​

  1. Click "Upload Logo" or drag and drop your file
  2. Preview your logo
  3. Adjust if needed

Don't have a logo? You can skip this step and add it later from Business Settings.

Step 4: Connect Your Wallet​

Payverge uses blockchain technology for secure business registration and payments.

Connecting Your Wallet​

  1. Click "Connect Wallet"
  2. Choose your wallet provider:
    • MetaMask
    • WalletConnect
    • Coinbase Wallet
    • Other compatible wallets
  3. Approve the connection in your wallet
  4. Sign the authentication message

Important
  • Never share your private keys or seed phrase
  • Only connect to the official Payverge website
  • The connection request should come from payverge.io

What Happens When You Connect?​

When you connect your wallet:

  • ✅ Your wallet address becomes your business identifier on the blockchain
  • ✅ You can receive crypto payments directly to this wallet
  • ✅ You authenticate securely without passwords
  • ❌ We never have access to your funds or private keys

Step 5: Blockchain Registration​

After connecting your wallet, your business is registered on the blockchain.

Registration Fee​

There's a one-time registration fee to create your business on the blockchain:

  • Fee: Typically 10-25 USDC (varies by network)
  • Purpose: Covers blockchain transaction costs
  • One-time: You only pay this once

Registration Process​

  1. Review the registration fee
  2. Click "Register Business"
  3. Approve the USDC spending in your wallet
  4. Confirm the registration transaction
  5. Wait for blockchain confirmation (usually 10-30 seconds)

What's Happening?

Your business information is being securely recorded on the blockchain. This creates a permanent, tamper-proof record of your business registration.

Registration Steps Explained​

You'll see a progress indicator showing:

  1. Approval (25%) - Authorizing USDC payment
  2. Registration (50%) - Creating your blockchain business profile
  3. Backend (75%) - Setting up your dashboard and features
  4. Upload (90%) - Processing your logo and assets
  5. Complete (100%) - Your business is ready!

Important: Don't close the page during registration. The process takes 30-60 seconds.

Step 6: Choose Your Subscription​

Select a subscription plan that fits your business needs.

Available Plans​

Free Tier​

  • Cost: $0/month
  • Features:
    • Up to 5 tables
    • Basic menu (up to 20 items)
    • Standard support
    • Crypto payments only
  • Best for: Testing the platform or very small operations

Pro Tier​

  • Cost: $29/month (or equivalent in USDC)
  • Features:
    • Unlimited tables
    • Unlimited menu items
    • Staff management (unlimited staff)
    • Kitchen display system
    • Advanced analytics
    • Multi-language support
    • Multi-currency display
    • Priority support
    • All payment methods
  • Best for: Active restaurants and businesses

Payment Options​

Option 1: Crypto (USDC)

  • Pay directly with USDC from your wallet
  • Instant activation
  • No processing fees

Option 2: Credit Card (via Stripe)

  • Pay with any major credit/debit card
  • Standard card processing
  • Automatic monthly billing

Referral Codes & Discounts​

Have a referral code or coupon? Enter it during checkout to receive:

  • Discounted registration fees
  • Reduced subscription costs
  • Special promotional offers

Step 7: Welcome & Next Steps​

Congratulations! Your business is now registered on Payverge. 🎉

What You'll See​

After registration, you'll see a welcome screen with:

  • ✅ Confirmation of successful registration
  • 📋 Your business details
  • 🔗 Transaction hash (blockchain proof)
  • 🎯 Quick action buttons

Immediate Next Steps​

  1. Go to Dashboard - Access your business control center
  2. Set Up Your Menu - Add categories and items
  3. Create Tables - Generate QR codes for your locations
  4. Invite Staff - Add team members with appropriate roles

Troubleshooting Registration​

Wallet Won't Connect​

  • Ensure you have a compatible wallet installed
  • Try refreshing the page
  • Clear your browser cache
  • Try a different browser

Transaction Failed​

  • Check you have enough USDC in your wallet
  • Ensure you have ETH/native token for gas fees
  • Try increasing gas price if network is congested
  • Contact support if issue persists

Registration Stuck​

  • Don't refresh the page during registration
  • Wait at least 2 minutes for blockchain confirmation
  • Check your wallet for pending transactions
  • Contact support with your wallet address if stuck
  • Ensure file is under 2MB
  • Use JPG, PNG, or SVG format
  • Try a different image
  • You can add logo later from Settings

After Registration​

Once registered, you can:
